The conference will present and discuss the results of the European project "European Capitals of Culture and Cross-Border Urban Cohesion" (CECCUT). This Jean Monnet network analysed three interconnected foundations of the European Capital of Culture initiative as drivers of integration and community cohesion in the cross-border spaces of the European Union : sense of belonging, social inclusion and urban development.

After a presentation of the results of the CECCUT project, the conference will deliver three round tables:

1/ Culture, Europe and borders;

2/ Resilience of creative and cultural actors;

3/ What future for the European Capital of Culture initiative?
